Low-FODMAP Barbecue Sauce
I love bbq sauce, but generally avoid it because it includes onion and garlic. This is a great recipe for anyone suffering from IBS or otherwise prefering a low-FODMAP diet.

Ingredients
- 28 oz crushed tomatoes
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp ancho chile powder
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper for added spice
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a large pot to combine. Bring to a simmer on medium heat; cover and simmer on low heat for at least 30 minutes and up to 4 hours.
